He’d obsessively watch Movies, TV shows, behind the scenes sometimes because making the film & storytelling were the real entertainment to him. Despite his young age, Charles opted into every video creating project he could get his hands on, simply to Master the Art of creating high-quality entertainment.

In 2011, Charles had his first success in the marketing world as a graphic designer and photographer creating product packaging and listing product images online for a small company. 

The next year, while attending Palomar College, he was Live Audio Mixer for North County News. They won 2 Emmy Awards that year under Charles' audio controls!

Later, Charles teamed up with a classmate to be part time cameraman for Starpulse Red Carpet Interviews in Hollywood, CA, for Vanessa Mujica.

The next year, while finishing his AA Degree in Digital Video, he was hired to be a Lead Video Editor and Motion Graphics designer for a direct to consumer video production company, Grand Slam Direct. Charles worked closely with Executive Producers and Directors to create 30 second and 30 minute informercials for TV markets around the country and the world.

While Charles loves creating awesome videos for clients, he mostly enjoys teaming up with local content creators and directing motion pictures that make people laugh. His next goal is to become a full-time Movie Producer.

The limitations and obstacles Charles encountered with breaking into the industry, combined with the technology and manpower required to bring his films to life, became the birthplace of his own video production company, Dampt Productions.

In 2013, Charles' 1st Student Film, "The Hideout" was recognized with an Award of Distinction.

In 2017, a short film he Co-Produced, "Cause to Play" Won Best Use of Character at the San Diego 48 Hour Film Project.

In 2019, his next level comedy "Jesus John"(Short film version) was recognized as a Best of San Diego Film at the San Diego International Film Festival.
